On November 15th, 2022, the CARE-MOFA Luxembourg Flood Response Project was launched in Jamshoro, Pakistan to provide aid to the victims of the recent floods in the area. The Fast Rural Development Program (FRDP) teamed up with Care International to provide shelter, non-food items, and hygiene kits to 630 flood-affected individuals in Taluka Manjhand.

The floods in Jamshoro had left many families without a place to live, and the shelter kits provided by the CARE-MOFA Luxembourg Flood Response Project helped to address this pressing need. The kits contained materials such as tarpaulins, ropes, and other items necessary for the construction of temporary shelters.

In addition to the shelter kits, the project also provided non-food items such as blankets, cooking utensils, and other essential household items to help the flood victims get back on their feet. Hygiene kits containing items like soap, toothpaste, and other hygiene products were also distributed to help prevent the spread of illness.

Overall, the CARE-MOFA Luxembourg Flood Response Project was a great success and made a real difference in the lives of the flood-affected individuals in Taluka Manjhand. The shelter, non-food items, and hygiene kits provided by the project helped to alleviate some of the suffering caused by the floods and gave the affected individuals a sense of hope for the future.
